Today we traveled to Ventura harbor where we took a cruise to Anacapa island in the Channel Islands National Park. We saw a pod of dolphin, about 1500 of them, on the way. On the island, our guide, Aaron, gave a very worthwhile tour of the island. We saw about a million seagulls, who seem to be the dominant inhabitants. There were a lot of pelicans and some sea lions. Some of the girls finished the tour with an invigorating leap into the ocean.
