The continuing story of our rv trip out west.

Today, the Island Packers woke up a bit late and had 30 minutes to get ready. Since that night we decided to park at a random RV park instead of driving all the way to near Santa Barbra, we had no showers and smelled delicious. We hit the road and drove to Monterery Pennisula. It was gorgeous with the blue ocean crashing against the rocks. We stopped at a small, sketchy, ghost like town, San Miguel, to stretch our legs. Then we saw a mission and adobe house which was quite fascinating and gained some historical knowledge. Oh and these were both closed by the way. Then we finally arrived at the RV park in Ventura. It was really nice, there was a reacreation center, hot tub/pool, and nice bathrooms that were better than Latane Dorms. We had a nice home cooked meal, spaghetti and brownies that Dr. Khaler made, however he burnt the second batch so the supply was limited. On the itinerary we were supposed to stop at Santa Barbra but we did not and some of the girls were upset but in the end we were satisfied with our new iteinerary. We finally went to sleep and awaited the adventure tomorrow brings since most of the girls slept on the long drive to Ventura.
