Having Fun in the Sun

When I first thought of the Roadrules trip to California I thought of soaking up the sun on beaches...however for the past few days we have been driving down very long and curvy roads that lead to beautiful landscapes...however i did not feel like we were truley in California. Today however we went to Stinson because Quinn's family so nicely invited all 25 of us to stay the night. The drive here was breath taking. It was wonderful to see the beach! Once we got to Quinn's aunts we went down to the beach. It was windy and the water was chilly so we went back to her aunts house and soaked up some sun on the dock and in the hot tub. Quinn's brother Will brought along some of his friends that are on the Crew team for Burkley so the girls loved soaking up the male presence. We had a wonderful lasagana, ceaser salad and roll dinner. For dessert we had ice cream and cookies. Quinn's family treated us all like princess and princes! While sitting on the chairs soaking up the sun and looking over the water i was amazed at how different life can be. It has to be super nice to get up most days and have the warm sun! It was so peaceful and I almost felt like i was away from normal society. Everything seemed to be very slow here. People were out riding bikes, others were flying Kites. It was just wonderful to lay back and get to soak in a slower way of life.
